Our Story
At every family gathering in Charleston, SC, there was one dish that always disappeared first—our uncle’s homemade pimento cheese. Creamy, tangy, and packed with just the right amount of kick, it became a tradition at every holiday, cookout, and tailgate. Friends and family raved about it, insisting it was the best they’d ever had.
What started as a special treat for our inner circle quickly turned into something bigger. We realized that great pimento cheese—the kind made with real ingredients and no shortcuts—was hard to find. So we decided to share our family’s favorite recipe with everyone, bringing a taste of old-timey goodness to tables far beyond our own.
That’s how Lowcountry Pantry was born: a love for good food, great company, and the simple joy of a well-made pimento cheese—just like it used to be.
